I've always had a massive passion for animals. I grew up with horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats and alpacas. It didn't matter what type of animal it was. I was always my happiest around animals. When I was little I had a pet cow on my grandparents farm who I used to follow around all day and I would hug all the time, safe to say I was obsessed with cows and they are my favourite animal. I always knew I'd end up working with animals when I was older and so did my family.
My pets are Coby who is a cavoodle and is seven years old, he loves his food! and I have my cat Mufasa who is a two year old domestic short hair and obsessed with sleeping in the garden beds.
I started my veterinary nursing adventure at the end of 2017 working in a small practice and learning the basics. I studied at Box Hill Institute and graduated in September 2020. I've now been a nurse for three years and it's the best thing in the world, I love going to work everyday knowing I'm going to be working with animals and doing what I love. I plan on furthering my veterinary nursing education and doing my Diploma in veterinary nursing in the near future.
I'm very lucky to be a part of an amazing team here at Bentleigh, we all work together and support each other in every way. I also have a big passion for looking after wildlife, especially baby possums. In my spare time I spend a lot of time cooking and baking, reading, spending time in the country and being with friends
